Daily rhythm

Today's pillar — the finest grain; how today may feel against your fixed chart.

Daily rhythmis the finest time layer — how today's calendar day pillar meets your fixed birth chart. Your day pillar(especially the day stem, called your day element) is the anchor we score against. We compare today's stem and branch to your chart's helpful and caution element lists, then name how the day may feel.

Your personality glyph is fixed at birth, but time keeps moving. Universe reads how each day's rhythm, monthly luck (Wolun), yearly luck (Saewun), and decade luck (Daewun) press against your chart — so you can study when background support or pressure may shape how your traits show up. Every one of those reads is arithmetic on your pillars: no part of Universe asks an AI anything, so what you see is the same for the same chart on the same day, every time.

Where it sits in time

Daily rhythm is the top of the Universe stack — one pillar per calendar day. Monthly luck (Wolun) is the monthly layer; yearly luck (Saewun) is annual; decade luck (Daewun)is the longer backdrop. Each layer uses the same helpful and caution lists, but daily rhythm reads only today's pillar — no month or year theme scoring.

What you see in Universe

Today's headline

A plain-language summary of how today's pillar may lean — from the five-element cycle between your day stem and today's day stem, plus leanings colored by today's motivation.

Energy chart

Your usual energy vs today's mix, a matching score, and three rhythm lines (Emotion, Body, Focus) across the day.

Resonance feedback

Optional chips on whether the tone matched your day — helps Oracle learn your framing later, never new chart facts.

How we calculate the headline

The headline names today's overall tilt — not a prediction. It comes from the five-element cyclebetween your day stem and today's day stem, then translates into plain language (peer, resource, output, wealth, or authority). Today's motivation is a separate read that shapes tone and leanings, not the headline.

Components

  • Your day pillar — fixed anchor; your day element element at the stem.
  • Today's day pillar — stem (headline driver) plus branch backdrop (animal element).
  • Element cycle— your day stem vs today's day stem sets the headline path.
  • Helpful and caution lists— trim or boost where today's stem and branch touch them.

Today's motivation

  1. Element path — the same cycle relationship that drives the headline (tone only for motivation).
  2. Polarity— same or opposite yin/yang between your day stem and today's stem.
  3. Those two steps name today's motivation. It writes one line of its own — the tone line — and that is all it writes. The supportive and caution lines below it come from the element cycle, not from the motivation. It is also not your personality glyph Drive.

Signals that shape the read

  • Headline driver from the day-stem cycle.
  • Supportive and challenging leaning lines from the fixed table for that path.
  • Helpful or caution element touches on today's stem and branch.
  • Energy matching score from the blend of your birth mix with today's stem and branch.

The energy chart shows element balance, blend score, and rhythm curves. Streak check-ins live on Profile. Leanings for reflection, not predictions of specific events.

How rhythm lines are calculated

Three lines — Emotion, Body, Focus — each read as activity in that channel, not good or bad. They move across five windows through the day. The numbers stay between 35 and 92: the chart is drawn on a 0–100 axis, but a line is never sent to either end, because a flat zero or a perfect hundred would say something about a day that no day deserves.

  1. Base level — each channel starts from a fixed base tied to the headline path (the same five-element relationship as the headline).
  2. Score adjust — the energy matching score shifts every base by (score − 62) × 0.18. Higher match lifts the lines; lower match softens them.
  3. Daily wave — a date-locked curve adds rise and fall across the five windows. Max/min on each chart show the spread. The dashed marker is the current window when you view today.

How we drew these leanings

The You may feelrows are feel-only leanings — not advice. They come from one engine path: today's element cycle against your day stem. Not from the matching score, and not from AI.

  1. Element path— your day stem vs today's day stem names the relationship (peer, resource, output, wealth, or authority).
  2. Table lookup — that path picks the Supportive and Challenging lines, plus Love / Work / Money, from a fixed row for that relationship.
  3. Order — Supportive usually comes first; Challenging can lead if your saved feedback leans that way. Love → Work → Money chip order can also shift with feedback. Until you save feedback, Supportive leads and chips stay Love → Work → Money.

Terms we use

  • Stem and branch — each pillar has a top character (stem, an element tone) and bottom character (branch, often an animal sign).
  • Helpful and caution lists — elements computed from your four pillars that tend to support you or add friction; we reuse them at every time layer.
  • Day element— the element on your day stem; the “you” anchor for scoring moving pillars.
  • Matching score— how today's stem–branch mix blends with your birth chart elements (shown on the energy chart).
