Movement & travel

Like the three-year cycle, yeokma is not personalized from your full four pillars the way yearly and monthly theme scoring is. It comes from a single lookup: everyone sharing your birth-year animal triad shares the same movement branch.

We show it as a traditional movement/change window — travel, shifts, or a restless pace may feel more likely. When theme scoring also reads active that period, both labels can appear together; they answer different questions and neither overrides the other.

1. Read your birth year branch (the animal on your year pillar — the same anchor as the three-year cycle and visibility labels).
2. Map it to one of four three-harmony animal triads; each triad has a fixed movement branch (below).
3. When the flowing year or month branch equals that movement branch, we show the badge in yearly or monthly luck.

Separate from theme scoring and pillar ease — a folk calendar overlay only.

• Movement & travel (Yeokma) — checked at both the yearly and monthly level, so it can surface more often across a year.
• Visibility & attraction (Dohwa) — checked at the yearly level only.

Both come from the same four birth-year triads, but every triad's movement branch and visibility branch are different animals — and a calendar year carries one branch. So the two can never badge the same year. Movement is also checked on months, and a year runs through all twelve month branches, so your movement month comes round every year whatever the year itself is doing.
